The Fourth Age (of Middle Earth) is an Dagorhir Chapter with fast easy combat rules, minor magic/spell casting, and basic character development based on Tolkein's Middle Earth universe.
While holding true to the Dagorhir Rules, this chapter varies in a few key ways:
1 - We are not Geographically Based, but instead a modern "online" Chapter whose membership spans the country.
2 - We have much more character development. All characters within the Chapter are either Middle Earth based, or possible within the realm of Middle Earth.
3 - Our "House Rules" will allow for Magic and Spell Casters to be effective on the field. We do not always have magic effects, nor are they required in individual areas, but we like to appeal to more Non-Coms. All of our weekend events will have some form of the "House Rules" in effect.
4 - Our game play is "Always On" and Role Play is highly encouraged. Based just after the War of the Ring, Middle Earth is entering the "Fourth Age". The current year is RK 29 (Reunited Kingdom, 29th year) and Sauron was defeated some 30 years ago.
King Aragorn II Elessar sits on the throne of the Reunited Kingdom or Arnor and Gondor, but not all is well within the world!
With the destruction of Sauron and the death of Saruman, the evils of the land now roam free and leaderless! It is a great time of rebuilding, but also of uneasy alliances and formidable armies coming together to gather as much power for themselves as they can!
